Got to Dance, originally titled Just Dance, is a reality talent show dance competition that has been broadcast on Sky1 in the United Kingdom and Ireland since 20 December 2009. Auditions for the show take place in specially built Dance Domes and are open to all dance acts of any age, style or size but must be of an amateur level. Dance on Sunset is a dance and music series hosted by Quddus on Nickelodeon that featured dance routines, called the "Fresh-Squeezed Dance", designed to be performed by its pre-teen and teen-age viewers. Choreographer Tony Testa and the show's dance troupe, the Nick 6, demonstrated each routine slowly, repeating it several times during the episode. An "advanced" version of each routine was featured on the show's website. The show was cancelled due to low viewership. The series finale aired on June 21, 2008. As of Friday, August 24, 2012 the website is still running.

Let's Dance for Comic/Sport Relief is a British television programme shown on BBC One, featuring celebrities performing famous dance routines to raise money for the charities Comic Relief and Sport Relief. The programme is currently presented by Steve Jones and Alex Jones, who replaced previous host Claudia Winkleman in 2011. In the first series, Anton du Beke was a regular judge, appearing alongside two guest panellists, but in the second series onwards, three guest judges were on the panel each week. The first series aired between 21 February and 14 March 2009 and was won by Robert Webb. It raised over £300,000 for Comic Relief. The second series, in aid of Sport Relief, aired from 20 February 2010 until 14 March and was won by Rufus Hound. The third series aired between 19 February 2011 and 12 March in aid of Comic Relief, and was won by James Thornton and Charlie Baker. A fourth series aired from 18 February until 17 March 2012 in aid of Sport Relief, and was won by Rowland Rivron. The fifth ran from 16 February 2013 until 9 March 2013, and was won by Antony Cotton. The series' finale was the last Saturday night show to be broadcast live from BBC Television Centre.
The Eurovision Dance Contest 2007 was the 1st Eurovision Dance Contest a dance entertainment co-production between the EBU and the BBC. The first ever pan-European dance competition was held on 1 September 2007 in London, United Kingdom with the participation of 16 countries. Viewers cast their votes by telephone and SMS text message voting on each couple's two dances – the first being ballroom or Latin with the second being freestyle, with a "national" flavour. The first ever winner of the contest was Finland who received a total of 132 points. 2nd place went to Ukraine 3rd to Ireland, 4th to Poland and 5th place to Austria.
